Taylor Made Science offers two interdisciplinary middle school science courses, each having a different "emphasis." These courses can be taken alone or in either order:
Life and Environmental Science
Earth and Physical Science
All science courses are composed of two 17-week semesters. Classes are once a week for one hour and 45 minutes. Students are expected to complete homework assignments on the four other weekdays.
Although these courses are not labeled as "Pre-AP" or "Honors," they are taught at a level that will prepare students to enter Pre-AP classes at the high school level. Students will use traditional "state adopted" textbooks, complete course-appropriate science laboratory experiments, and keep a science lab notebook throughout the course. Students who complete the class will have an official grade report and lab notebook documenting course work successfully completed.
The fee for a complete 34-week middle school science course is $550. The Forensic Science class is slightly higher at $650, due to the extra cost of lab supplies and equipment. These prices include all lab supplies. All course fees are paid in 10 equal payments, the first being the "registration/supply fee" and nine tuition payments paid at the first of each month, September-May.

Taylor Made Science also offers a Forensic Science class that is designed for early high school age and mature 8th graders. The level of this class is a little higher than the middle school classes and would be a good "transition" science if a student is not quite ready to go directly into a Pre-AP level high school science class. Although some younger students may be able to handle the workload for the class, it is not recommended for students younger than 8th grade due to the subject matter.
